Bones Will Roll
Made in 48 Hours for the GMTK 2022 Jam!
Fight the fields of enemies, collecting runes of power to give your fighters stronger abilities. Collect 27 withought all of your allies dying, and you'll survive the day!
CONTROLS:
- Q/E - To rotate line selections
- Mouse: Select buttons, and board squares.
- Choose 3 for your normal ability effect, or roll the dice, and see if you get what you need...
BOARD:
- Runes - Add to your inventory. If a character collects 3 of the same, they can use a Special Ability.
- Numerals - An undead enemy, it's strength determined by the numbers size. If taken, gives a wound of equal size to the character. Be careful!
CHARACTERS:
- Will become Injured on 5 Wounds or More.
- Will become Dead on 10 Wounds or More.
ABILITIES:
Replace X with either 3, or the number rolled on the dice!
- TAKE - Take X in a line from the board, to your character. Runes go to your inventory, Numerals represent difficult creatures, which go to your Wounds.
- SWAP - Swap X cells on the board. First to Second, Second to Third... Last to First.
- HEAL - Heal a wound of value X, or lower.
SPECIAL ABILITIES:
- Abilities cost 3 matching runes to cast.
- Your fighters will lose the strength to use special abilities once Injured or worse!
- FIGHTER - CUT - Remove X in a line from the board.
- FIGHTER - TAUNT - Take wounds X or below from allies.
- ROGUE - PLANT - Place X in a line of runes on the board.
- ROGUE - STEAL - Select X things to take from the board.
- CLERIC - SMITE - Remove all enemies X or lower
- CLERIC - CURE - Remove all wounds of X or lower from allies
